|About the Book|
Some guy was here looking for Lone Ranger paraphenalia (I didnt ask), but this is all I could find for him. Surprisingly, the book was in pretty good condition: all of the tabs were intact, all of the movable features still moved, etc. Most importantly, I now know how The Lone Ranger became the Lone Ranger. Beofre I read this book, I had no idea he was actually named John Reid and trained as a lawyer. Nor did I know that Tonto had rescued him and thus began their friendship. The actions in the book were pretty varied. There were rearing horses, both 2 and 3 dimensional- running people- burning buildings- multi-layered landscapes/objects- and - my favorite - the destruction of the newspaper office. I cant say the story had much going for it - there was about one sentence per page for a total of maybe 12 sentences, but I was totally entertained for at least 3 or 4 minutes.
